Greetings, Platypus Army! As you may already know, I’ve decided to step away from writing about serious topics like politics and social issues to explore something a bit more lighthearted. Yes, it’s time to embrace the world of shitposting, memes, dark jokes, pop culture, and other fun topics!

Now, you might be wondering, “Why, Plat? Why the sudden shift in content?” Well, for starters, it’s time for some much-needed positivity and laughter in our lives! The last few years have brought with them some of society’s best moments, but also some of its worst. It’s been a time of immense change and growth, but it’s also taken its toll on all of us. Our brains cannot handle the constant barrage of negativity anymore, and we need a break. And, let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good laugh?

But there’s more to it than just that. I have always been about making people smile, laugh, and even question their sanity. I love nothing more than to see people happy, and that’s what this new direction is all about. It’s about finding joy in the little things, sharing hilarious memes, and making each other laugh until we shit our pants a little.

I know what you’re thinking: “But Plat, what about the important issues facing our world? Don’t you care about making a difference?” Of course, I do! I care deeply about making a difference in the world. However, I also believe that it’s essential to take care of yourself and your mental health. We can’t always be fighting the good fight. Sometimes we need to take a step back and just enjoy life.

For those of you who have been following my content over the last few years, I want to say thank you. I appreciate your support and your willingness to engage with these important issues. But, I hope you’ll stick around for the new direction. I promise to keep you entertained with personal blogging, photos, and hilarious stories from around the internet.

So, let’s embrace the stupid and absurd, let’s get a little “un-PC”, let’s crack some questionable jokes, and most importantly, let’s take care of ourselves and each other. Because, in the end, that’s what it’s all about. And if you need a good laugh, just come find me. I’ll have you smiling and questioning your sanity in no time!
