According to a discovery that has shocked the scientific community, researchers at Pyongyang University of Science and Technology have discovered that crying doves make no sound.

An extensive study was conducted that involved observing many different kinds of doves and analyzing them using specialized equipment. Following Prince’s hypothesis, the scientists thought they would be able to isolate the sound of crying doves.

However, to their surprise, they found no such evidence. “We were completely bewildered by this discovery,” said lead researcher Dr. Kim Pok Il. “We had taken Prince at his word. But it turns out that they are completely silent when expressing their emotions.”

This discovery has called into question the iconic song “When Doves Cry” by Prince. The 1984 hit, which has become one of the most beloved and enduring songs of all time, is named after the mythical ability of doves to cry out loud.

We had taken Prince at his word.

But with this new information, it seems that Prince may have been mistaken. “We always suspected that there was something off about that song,” said one music critic. “I mean, who the hell has ever heard a dove cry? It’s a total absurdity.”

The news has shocked and confused fans of the song. I have no idea what to think,” said Ashley Martins, once a devoted Prince fan. “I mean, the song has always been a classic for me. But if the doves don’t cry, what does that mean for the song?”

Despite the disappointment of this revelation, the researchers are determined to continue their work and find out why doves cry silently. “We will not rest until we have unlocked the mystery of the silent dove cry,” said Dr. Pok Il. “It may take years, but we are determined to get to the bottom of this.”
